Tasbih Tracker is designed as a minimalist, offline-first digital counter application created to assist users in counting daily dhikr, keeping track of tasbih goals, and maintaining spiritual consistency.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download, install, and use the Tasbih Tracker mobile application on Android devices.
2. Zero Personal Data Collection (No Backend Architecture)
We do not collect, process, transmit, sell, or rent any personal information, including:
- No name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
- No user accounts, usernames, passwords, or profile credentials.
- No location data (GPS, network location, or IP-based location).
- No device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, or Android Advertising ID).
- No telemetry, session tracking, or biometric records.
3. Permissions & Local Device Storage
The application only accesses hardware functions strictly required for its core functionality:
- Local Storage (SharedPreferences): Used exclusively on your device hardware to remember your counter numbers, custom dhikr titles, targets (e.g. 33, 99, 100), and streak history. This data never leaves your device.
- Vibrator / Haptic Feedback: Used to provide a gentle, tactile vibration pulse when you tap the screen to increment your counter or reach a milestone.
- Internet Access: Required only for loading standard offline-cached typography (Google Fonts) and for Google Play Billing communication when checking purchase statuses. No user usage data is transmitted over this connection.
4. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Tasbih Tracker may offer optional one-time in-app purchases to unlock premium customization themes or support development:
- All financial transactions are handled exclusively through the official Google Play In-App Billing API.
- Sohoj Media never receives, views, or stores your credit card numbers, debit cards, bank details, or billing addresses.
- All billing transactions are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
5. Children's Privacy
Our application is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13 (and under 16 in the European Union). Because Tasbih Tracker collects absolutely no personal data from any user, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.
6. User Data Control & Instant Data Deletion
Because all information is stored exclusively on your device, you have complete sovereignty over your data:
- You can reset your counts or custom dhikrs at any time within the application settings.
- You can permanently erase all data by clearing the app's cache and storage via your Android phone's Settings > Apps > Tasbih Tracker > Storage > Clear Data.
- Uninstalling the app immediately deletes all stored counters and records from your device.
7. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising
Tasbih Tracker contains zero third-party advertisements and integrates no third-party tracking analytics (such as Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or AppsFlyer).
8. Policy Updates
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements or legal guidelines. Any revisions will be published directly to this page with an updated "Effective Date".
